ABOUT JEFFERSON COUNTY’S FAIR JULY 10 – JULY 14 2024
Are you ready to kick off your summer with a fantastic opportunity? Our Fair Seasonal Employees will be at the forefront of all operations of the Jefferson County Fair! We need each employee to help run our fair like a well-oiled machine. This is not your average 9-5 seasonal opportunity! It is a chance to dive headfirst into a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
From June to July, the Jefferson County Fairl will be the talk of the County! We are looking for employees to join the team to ensure its an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We are not just hiring for one role; we have got opportunities that will keep you buzzing with excitement. We are looking for employees to begin June 30th and end July 20th. *Depending on your position, dates will vary*
The Positions we are hiring:
Seasonal Laborer: Are you ready to jump into the action of the Fair Park? You will be at the heart of the action working alongside our Fair Park grounds and maintenance team to keep the grounds in tip-top shape. We need your support in prepping buildings, events and much more. Some skid loader/tracker skills will be helpful. Required Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and 18 years old to operate our heavy equipment.
Fair Week Employees: Do you love being outside? Join us and help keep our fairgrounds clean and safe through out the event. We will need your help in preparing for buildings and grounds for all events. Required Qualifications: knowledge of the fair will be helpful as well as office and or building and grounds maintenance.
Summer Office Assistant: Do you prefer to work your magic behind the scenes? Join our office team! You will be coordinating schedules and assisting with paperwork to provide top-notch customer service and experience. We are looking for that friendly face to help with fair entries, set up, take down and many other duties. Required Qualifications: must be 18 years old, proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent customer service skills.
Fair Park Area Supervisors: As an Area Supervisor you will play a pivotal role ensuring smooth operations of our sprawling grounds, overseeing our team to ensure every aspect of Fair Park Events exceed expectations of all attendees. We are looking for you to provide team leadership, effective event coordination, and top-notch customer experience. Required Qualifications: must be 18 years old, proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent customer service skills. Some supervisory experience will be helpful.
